HYPERSTEP / TERMS

Terms of use

These terms cover the Hyperstep website and apps that link to them, together with applicable product terms and Apple’s app license agreement.

Scope and app license

These terms apply to the Hyperstep website and apps that reference them. For an app obtained through the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a custom EULA is supplied for that app. These website and service terms do not replace that license agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights. Product-specific terms apply to the features they expressly cover.

Permitted use

Use our apps and website lawfully and within the applicable license. Do not interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or infringe another person’s rights. Restrictions on copying, modification, or reverse engineering are subject to rights and exceptions provided by applicable law and the applicable app license.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in content you create or import. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to use, record, or share that content, including any required permission from other people. Using an app does not give Hyperstep ownership of your content. How content is processed or transmitted is described in the applicable privacy notice.

Features and compatibility

Features, required device permissions, supported operating systems, and hardware requirements vary by app and version. Refer to the app’s listing and in-app information before purchasing. Denying a permission may prevent the related feature from working. Future features or updates are not promised unless expressly stated as part of the purchase.

In-app purchases

Purchases inside our apps are made exclusively through Apple’s App Store in-app purchase system. The Apple purchase sheet shows the product and price before confirmation. Product availability, taxes, payment processing, and applicable purchase conditions are handled under Apple’s terms. This website does not accept payments for app features.

Subscriptions, where offered

An app may offer one-time purchases, subscriptions, or both; this does not mean every app has a subscription. For subscriptions, consult the offer and Apple’s purchase sheet for the billing period, price, trial terms, and renewal conditions. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s terms. Manage or cancel them in your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting an app or a separate app account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Restoring purchases and refunds

Eligible purchases may be restored using the Apple account used to purchase them and the app’s available restore controls. Consumable purchases are generally not restorable in the same way as non-consumable purchases or subscriptions. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, subject to its policies and applicable consumer law. Contact Hyperstep for help with app functionality; use Apple’s purchase support for billing and refund requests.

Privacy and third-party services

Our privacy policy and any app-specific notice describe information handling. Apple, iCloud, and other services that an app expressly integrates may also have their own terms. Inflearn and Udemy courses are governed by the relevant course platform terms. Availability of third-party services may affect features that depend on them.

Intellectual property

Hyperstep or its licensors retain rights in the apps, website, and supplied content, except your own content and third-party materials identified as such. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide reliable software, but errors, interruptions, or compatibility changes can occur. Keep appropriate backups of important content. To the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable app license, Hyperstep is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of its apps or website. Nothing here excludes non-excludable liability, statutory warranties, or mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as our products evolve and display the revision date on this page. Material changes requiring notice or consent will be handled as required by applicable law. For support or questions, contact [email protected] and identify the app concerned.
